Mateus dates back to 1942, when Fernando Van Zeller Guedes had the idea of creating a wine with a strong personality and unique flavour, presented in an original and innovative bottle. Mateus soon became an iconic brand and the first wine to attain true global fame.

There is plenty of fruit here, with pear juice and apples dominating the rustic complexity. A rich fruit salad palate, some zesty acidity, and a touch of sweetness makes this wine positively jump out of the glass.

The Riesling has a lifted nose of lime juice, honey and lemon tea. A touch of sweetness on the palate is balanced by some tangy acid and funky complexity, giving way to an exciting finish, that jumps around in your mouth for longer than you would think possible.

The aromas are complex and sweet, showing toasty stonefruit aromas with hints of tropical fruit and flinty notes. The palate is rich with a fine structure and up-front fruit and a long finish. The wine is textural and rich in style with a fine finish showing great persistence and freshness.

Dry to taste and medium-bodied, bold, juicy and luscious flavours of ripe passionfruit and tropical fruits feature on a fulsome palate. Layers of green stonefuits, herbs and capsicum add interest. The wine carries to a mouthwatering, dry, textural finish with rich passionfruit and gooseberry flavours. This is a full, bold and juicy, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with grainy textures and a dry finish.

Established in 1864 by Jean Désiré Féraud, Monte Christo is the birthplace of Central Otago wine. Utilising sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention methods in the winery, the outcome is elegant, refined, and impeccably balanced wines epitomising the terroir of Central Otago. An elegant yet complex Chardonnay with fresh lemon, green pear, white peach, hawthorn flowers, river rock and subtle baking spices.

Floral notes alongside white fleshed peach, pear and all spice characters. The palate displays these same characters in abundance focusing on ripe succulent peach notes, while the mid palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a rich, spice infused finish.

This Pinot Rosé displays a lovely red rose petal, whilst the aroma talks of ripe raspberry and strawberry notes. On the palate the wine leads with dry textural red cherry, developing into a richly textured mid-palate; brambly raspberry notes drive the finish of the wine.

Supple gooseberry notes introduces the wine before moving into a broadly textured mid-palate. A lovely acid line drives passionfruit flavours on the finish.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. Roaring Meg Chardonnay features citrus floral notes, toasted brioche and a hint of cashew on the nose. Initially some classically rich Chardonnay fruit character on the palate, white stone fruit and toast notes which then picks up on the fresh and crisp finish. The wine finishes with refreshing grapefruit and lemon zest.
