Very pale straw in colour while the aromas offer the classic, lifted potpourri florals with lychee and roses with a pronounced thread of fresh lemon. The palate is soft, round and luscious but with wonderful weight and depth. Turkish delight flavours add to the wine's complexity and give way to ripe tropical fruits on the mid-palate while the finish has a pithy lemon character.
Floral hints, suggestive of rose petals, intertwine with Turkish delight, spices, oriental musk, incense and candle smoke. It is big-boned and mouth-filling with a smooth, unctuous texture, balanced by a long dry finish.
Intensely perfumed, with notes of lychees, ripe oranges and cloves. These lead into luscious varietal flavours of lychee and quince, with underlying characters of ginger and exotic spice. The palate shows intense fruit concentration and weight with a fine, soft texture and excellent persistence of flavour.
