In the Province range, Astrolabe emphasises the varietal intensity created by Marlborough's leafy vineyards, ripe fruit and cool-climate winegrowing conditions. This wine presents with ripe green flavours like passionfruit, blackcurrant leaf and gooseberry. In the palate, it is full and round and finishes dry and lingering. A drier style of Sauvignon Blanc, acidity kept nicely in balance with the alcohol and the very little residual sugar that is there, so it's all about how all these things come together to make a pleasurable whole. Astrolabe craft their wines so that nothing stands out as one singular spike, instead revealing a lovely layering of flavours and aromas that people can keep finding as they spend time savouring the glass.

The nose is bright and intense with sweet red fruit and hints of cassis. Aromatics are tempered with notes of fennel and coriander seed, the palate unfolding with flavours of ripe red fruits and fresh blackcurrant.

Crimson is our selection of fruit from younger parcels of vines from our various vineyards on the Martinborough Terrace. In their youth, vines tend to be more fruit expressive, gaining more complexity with time. Now, Crimson is developing more depth of flavour, with a mix of vines aged from 5 to 20 years.

Arguably New Zealand's finest Pinot Noir, certainly if track records are taken into account, Ata Rangi have been doing Pinot Noir better and for longer than anyone. An incredibly consistent wine since the early 1980s, they've had a dream run even by their lofty standards with four of the finest vintages ever in succession.

A wonderful array of aromas; watermelon, baked raspberry, fig and melon with a savoury note of pecorino cheese. This is a dry style Rosé.

Brut Majeur perfectly represents the AYALA style. The Chardonnay, emblematic grape variety, present at 55% in this cuvée expresses all its purity and elegance. An extended ageing of three years in the cellars confers the final touch to this cuvée, where balance and precision coexist with finesse and elegance. An ultimate Champagne aperitif, Brut Majeur will also harmoniously accompany every moment of the meal: white fish, shellfish, poultry, or a cheese platter.

An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

The Babich Black Label range is crafted specifically to complement food. This deep coloured Syrah is produced from a special selection of grapes grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle region of Hawke's Bay. Vibrant and lifted with plum, black pepper, violets and dried herbs. French oak contributes subtle vanilla and cedar aromas. Supple and smooth with fine soft tannins and medium weight. Cherry, plum and red brambly notes join with a touch of cocoa and nutmeg. Bright, juicy and lingering finish.

Babich's flagship Irongate Vineyard is situated in an old shingle bed of the Ngaruroro River in the Gimblett Gravels appellation of Hawke's Bay. First produced in 1987, this single vineyard wine has evolved to represent the very best of their craft. Crop-levels are heavily restricted to deliver excellent flavour concentration in the grapes, with the final blend delivering a rich, round and complex wine. Blackberry, blueberry, cigar box and plum aromas. Inviting and warm with a touch of spice, charcuterie and well-integrated oak. Smooth and seamless with layers of sweet dark fruits, cocoa, leather, cedar and liquorish. Dense, concentrated and vibrant with a long finish.
