Read the name Chianti, and you think of hills, villages, parish churches and farmhouses, where time stands still, preserving beauty and taste, keeping them authentic and intact, just as they once were. Sangiovese 85%, Merlot 10%, Other red grapes 5%. Clear, ruby-red in colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure.
