Upon release it has a subtle lemon hue. The bouquet is vibrant, an intoxicating assortment of tropical and citrus. Heady aromas of passionfruit and pineapple flirt temptingly against a backdrop of grapefruit, green apple, lemon peel and a hint of gunflint. The mouthfeel is textured yet precise, with a rousing whip of acidity and simmering phenolics that give the wine increased structure and length. A complex and serious Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense varietal character, a multi- faceted palate, and a long salivating finish.

Peregrine's organic Pinot Gris is dry in style showing lovely ripe fruit and a subtle texture from a small portion of barrel fermentation. The cooler climate of Central Otago allows Peregrine to maintain a refreshing acidity and great length on the palate.

Golden straw colour with a matt Lisbon lemon hue. Complex medley of grapefruit peel, pine nuts, oatmeal, delicate white flowers and early summer meadow, constrained only by its youth. Cool, racy, almost pure fresh lemonade juice intensity fills the early palate; steel, saltiness, then more mouth-filling with lemon curd, hazelnuts and an almost sourdough maltiness; finishing long with visions of the sea and grapefruit pith. A sensational expression unique to this place and this vintage.

This is a new look at Pinot Noir through a white wine lens. Central Otago Pinot Noir grapes were hand-picked and quickly pressed then fermented as white juice. The result is a fresh and energetic white wine perfect for summer and something a little different. The nose displays red apple, honeysuckle, and strawberry. The palate is sweetly fruited, fresh and lively, with notes of red apple, melon and a touch of spice. Best to serve chilled.
