Octomore 13.2 offers an alternative maturation to the structural brilliance delivered by its 13.1 counterpart. Following a similar path to the Octomore 13.1, this 13.2 edition is also distilled from 100% Scottish Mainland barley and has been malted to a similar peating level at 137.3PPM. In an indulgent point of difference, the five year old spirit has spent its entire maturing life in Oloroso butts from Fernando de Castilla.

Octomore 13.3 demonstrates the phenomenal force of flavour when combining super-heavy peat with the variable harvests gathered from the island of Islay, on one singular farm. Raised by friend and farmer James Brown, just two miles south of the distillery, this crop of Concerto barley was distilled in 2016 from the 2015 growing season, has been patiently coaxed through Bruichladdich's Victorian distillery before being filled into first fill ex-American oak casks and second fill European oak casks.

The Bruichladdich 30 Year Old is a rare, limited-edition, unpeated single malt Scotch whisky from the 1988 vintage, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks at the Islay distillery. It features a sweet, floral nose with notes of vanilla, coconut, and citrus, leading to a complex, smooth, and fruity palate with hints of chocolate, honey, and sea air, finishing long and warm with oak and sea salt.

Celebrated for its light yet unmistakably smoky character, Caol Ila 12 Year Old offers a journey to Scotland's rugged Islay coast. Distilled on the shores of the Sound of Islay since 1846 using pure water from Loch Nam Ban, it captures the essence of Islay with clarity, finesse, and enduring appeal. Pale straw in colour, this fresh and smooth-bodied whisky opens with a clean, appetising nose of subtle citrus fruit, fresh herbs, and a gentle wisp of peat smoke. The palate begins sweetly and softly, developing into a fragrant, balanced smokiness before concluding with a lingering, sweet-smoke finish.

Retreating against a wild beauty, into the bramble-filled woods of the Highlands, Clynelish is a distillery even more remote than most. It is also the natural habitat to the elusive Scottish wildcat, Felix Sylvestris. Few of these evanescent creatures remain and rarely are they seen, but the wildcat symbol is emblazoned on the Clynelish distillery, guarding it for all time. Bright as a golden eye, amid the light, this Clynelish shows a spicier side to its bright fruitiness and waxy texture. The rich liquid glows with complex aromas of fruit, herbs and deeper, scented oak spice. The smooth texture and rich, wine-sweet flavours snarl with pepper-spice after an extended secondary maturation in Pedro Ximenez/Oloroso casks. A single malt as rare and elusive as its mysterious guardian.

Ballindalloch, on the banks of the legendary salmon river, is for many the home of the definitive Cragganmore Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Hugely complex, rich with layers of flavour and a whiff of smoke in the finish. Aromatic and floral on the nose, with a hint of smoked almonds.

A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.

Matured in the finest Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for at least 12 years before being uniquely married in oak tuns for up to nine months to develop exceptional harmony and complexity of flavour. In the glass, a distinctive fresh and fruity nose with a hint of pear followed by a palate of butterscotch, cream, malt and a subtle oak. Serve neat, with water (to bring out the flavours), over ice or in cocktails.
