Church Road Syrah expressed the warm climate of Hawke's Bay perfectly with ripe plum, cherry and hints of spice. A core of fruit suggestive of citrus, citrus blossom, white peach, and fresh fig provides the base that carries layers of savoury complexity including toasted hazelnut or cashew, brioche and driftwood smoke. On the palate, notes of roasted hazelnut, nougat and toasted brioche, along with a wisp of woodsmoke and struck flint, combine to bring a serious savoury element to the wine.

Fresh, fizzy and fruity, with flavours reminiscent of apple and pear. It has a sweet scent and a soft touch in the mouth and as such, it is perfect as an aperitivo, or for blending in cocktails such as the Aperol Spritz.

Along the length of our North and South Islands, the cool clear waters of the Pacific Ocean carve deep natural coves into the landscape. The spectacular eastern coastline of New Zealand is also renowned for its exceptional wines. In these beautiful, but harsh, conditions Clearwater Cove vines struggle for survival, producing low yields of high quality fruit with concentrated flavours.

The 2022 Ostler Pinot Gris was fermented half in stainless steel to retain purity and aromatics, the remaining was fermented in oak barrels, 12% being new, with extended lees stirring to provide complexity, richness and texture on the palate. Poached pear, ginger, white peach and jasmine florals, a generous, luscious palate intwined with a mineral zest that draws the wine together with precision. A dry style, but with plenty of interest.

The 2022 vintage marks the inaugural release of EOS Pinot Noir - a wine shaped by the season's restraint and the clarity of Clos Ostler's site. Deep and darkly brooding, it exudes intensity with a luscious core of Doris plum, mulberry, and cassis. These fruit notes are layered with subtle spice, hints of anise and black pepper. The palate is rich and complex, with impressive depth and finely grained tannins that shape a bold yet harmonious finish. A wine of power and intrigue, revealing new layers with every sip. EOS makes its debut, derived from the same site and plantings as Caroline's Pinot Noir, yet expressing a distinct stylistic identity.

The palate is rounded in the mouth, with gentle citrus and white peach characters, enfolded in layers of crème patissière and hazelnut.
