The Macallan Art is the Flower is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the Art Nouveau movement and the Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh's lecture on poetry. The name comes from Mackintosh's quote, "Art is the flower-life is the green leaf," which the whisky maker used to create a complex profile reflecting the elegance and modernity of his work. Matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, it offers notes of dried fruit, sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apples, and a hint of tea.
