Our tequila Reposado starts off life as Blanco. It's then rested in lightly charred, new American oak barrels to create a more complex and well-rounded character uniquely Espolòn.

Herradura Blanco owes its distinctly sweet taste of agave and subtle oak notes to resting for an impressive 45 days beyond the industry standard in American White Oak barrels. The prolonged aging process creates a light straw color with a unique, robust aroma of cooked agave, vanilla and wood that leaves your mouth feeling smooth and refreshed.

The Double Barrel Reposado is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, then aged another month in a toasted oak barrel. The traditional production process is overseen by Maria Teresa Lara, one of only a few female Maestra Tequileras (Master Distillers) in the world.

It possesses a very dark amber colour, showing its length of barrel aging. Full body, thick, creamy and silky. Make a great waist which slips long legs. Delicate smell of boiled agave, a dried wood presence with cinnamon, rose lips and a vanilla touch. The taste confirms the boiled agave and the smooth wooden texture. Creamy to the palate and very subtle when swallowed. Very elegant.

This additional time spent resting in charred American White Oak barrels creates a smooth, sweet finish with a slight taste of spice.

A blend of Añejo & Extra Añejo stripped back to a Platino finish, platinum in appearance. Subtle notes of cooked agave with hints of caramel, vanilla, wood, honey, dried fruits and toasted almonds. Sweeter and smoother in taste with a finish of the ultimate smooth expression of tequila.
