The nose is abundant with vibrant red fruits supported by subtle hints of French Oak. On the palate, well balanced tannins are intertwined with flavours of black cherries, satsuma plums and mulberries. Named in honour of a Thorn family ancestor, William Randell Shiraz is the only single vineyard Shiraz produced by Thorn-Clarke and is sourced from the older Kabininge Vineyard. This wine is only produced in exceptional years, and in very small volumes equating to less than 1% of total production. With fruit quality and intensity second to none, this wine is aged for 22 months in 100% new French and American oak.
