Rock rose and violets, liquorice, black cherries and plums resonate in the mid palate leading to an interminable finish of rich, dark chocolate, kirsch and blackcurrants. Still armed with exceptional power, depth and purity of fruit, this seductive vintage port with its characteristic Taylor understatement and restraint is still very youthful, with decades of potential ahead.

Old gold amber colours with the intense aromas of honey and spices, underscored with deep flavours of dried apricots, hazelnuts and vanilla, creating a rich yet elegant combination.

With each vintage, varietal batches are selected for Grandfather. These batches are individually aged in seasoned old oak casks before being blended together at 14 years of age. This blend is then introduced into the 'Grandfather Solera'. This Solera consists of six stages that are designed to fully integrate all components offering consistency and freshness with a final minimum average blended age of 20 years. Deep amber/mahogany in colour with green-gold tinges, this is a blend of the finest old tawnies. The palate shows classical Penfolds fruitcake, liquorice and vanillin oak flavours with a sweet full and round mid-palate, and a finish that persists on and on.

Graham's 20 Years Old has an excellent bouquet, with a characteristic 'nutty' character (almonds) and delicious mature fruit with hints of orange peel, exquisitely mellowed by careful ageing. Rich, sweet and smooth on the palate, it is perfectly balanced, with a long and lingering finish.

Light amber and tawny colour, showing mature raisiny fruit aromas with hints of honey and caramel. Dow's Twenty Years Old Tawny has a rich and nutty palate, with wonderful balance. A clean crisp finish and a soft lingering aftertaste.
