The Taylors Century of Port Collection is a four-bottle presentation of tawny ports. 100 Years of Port includes: Taylors 10 Year Old Tawny Port 375ml; Taylors 20 Year Old Tawny Port 375ml; Taylors 30 Year Old Tawny Port 375ml; Taylors 40 Year Old Tawny Port 375ml. Presented in a green Taylors Century of Port Wood Box. A special presentation pack from Taylor's, showcasing their ports with a half bottle of each of their four tawny ports between 10 and 40 years old. The total age of the wine in the set is 100 years, hence the 'Century of' moniker.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

The wine has delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and long, persistent finish. A small portion of this wine was barrel fermented and then lees stirred for 4 months. After 6 - 8 months maturation in French oak, the wine was blended and bottled.

This wine is medium to full-bodied with lush red berry, plum and cherry fruit characters. The fruit flavours are balanced by undertones of creamy mocha, spice & subtle savoury characters. The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to finish.

This wine has enticing, lifted fruit aromas of red currant and cherry fruits with a touch of spice and a very subtle minty, menthol character. Medium-bodied with flavours of ripe cherry and light red berry fruits along with savoury toast and sweet spice. The palate is soft and silky. Subtle oak characters of cinnamon and cedar add to the overall complexity.
