The bouquet showcases red rose, spice, cherry and mulberry, with hints of cedar. The palate is full and generous, showing great texture and mouthfeel, it displays liquorice, spicy black plum, red currant, and blackberry, with a tinge of pepper.

This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a bouquet of black briary fruit, cherry, spicy plum with hints of cigar box and violets, with the palate delivering ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry, red capsicum and chocolate notes complemented by hints of mint and cedar. A rich firmly structured wine with fruit, oak, and tannins in harmony.

The wine exhibits aromas of blackberries, raspberry and spicy plum and toffee apple, with hints of pomegranate and pepper. On the palate this rich intense wine displays spicy mulberry, ripe black cherry, Christmas pudding and chocolate notes complemented by a seam of blueberry and star of anise.

Few champagne houses remain in family hands. The impressively-pedigreed Pol Roger is one of them. Dense, sustained ruby/garnet. Dizzingly aromatic, swells from the glass: indurate spice - clove, cumin, caraway, cassia; ripe and bright red fruit - raspberry, redcurrant, Morello cherry. Quite a head-spinning, aromatic ride. Penetrating, juicy, sappy, brisk yet enveloping; vibrant flavours of red fruit and spice; also a lively earthy component that is relatively new to this vineyard, arriving in recent vintages: born of vine age and a deeper root structure, no doubt. One could hardly ask for a more invigorating, seductive, and briskly legitimate example of this wine.

Golden straw colour with a matt Lisbon lemon hue. Complex medley of grapefruit peel, pine nuts, oatmeal, delicate white flowers and early summer meadow, constrained only by its youth. Cool, racy, almost pure fresh lemonade juice intensity fills the early palate; steel, saltiness, then more mouth-filling with lemon curd, hazelnuts and an almost sourdough maltiness; finishing long with visions of the sea and grapefruit pith. A sensational expression unique to this place and this vintage.

Deep crimson hue. Deep brooding nose of plum and blue fruits with lifted floral spicy notes. Full bodied Pinot Noir with ripe rich fruits, mouth filling texture and round plush tannins giving the wine weight and power that lingers on the palate with a savoury, moreish finish.

The grapes were picked at between 13.5 to 14.0 Baume to produce the fruit flavours that are required to make this great wine. The grapes were fermented in a mixture of vessels to produce as much colour and flavour as possible. Portion of the wine underwent oak during fermentation and once dry, the remaining went to oak until the right balance was achieved. Careful tasting and blending, by Quarisa's winemaker, help produce this wine of style and great value for money.
