The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. Beautifully fragrant, this wine is built around a core of bright red and black fruit, overlaid with beautiful floral, spice and fresh thyme notes, with subtle oak in support. The Aotea by Seifried Syrah was blended from a small parcel of fruit from the Brightwater vineyard. The parcel was fermented separately and had an extended period in oak barriques. The wine is rich, warm and opulent with supple dark berry flavours complemented with warm cinnamon and hints of freshly ground black pepper. Layers of ripe flavours linger on the palate leaving a lasting impression.

Man O' War Island Blend is a Bordeaux style wine and is a blend of fruit from both Waiheke Island and its neighbouring Ponui Island. The blend is predominantly Cabernet Franc from their Paradise vineyard on Ponui Island with Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot coming from sites nestled in the sheltered valleys of Eastern Waiheke Island. Rich, ripe wine with sweet red berry fruit framed by chocolate and spice. The palate is softly textured with fine ripe tannins making for a decadent expression of a Cabernet Franc dominated blend.

M de Minuty is a true wine of pleasure which brings together rosé fans from all over the world to share joyful moments. A superb pleasurable wine, the aromatic harmony of grenache and cinsault gives it it's peach and crystallized orange notes, the taste is fresh and full-bodied until the finish.

Intense aromas of ripe cherries and boysenberries sit alongside notes of dark chocolate and layered over just a hint of spicy, earthiness. It is an intense mouthful full of juicy boysenberry, cherry and dark chocolate flavours and with a weighty texture on the palate. It has loads of supple, fine tannins and the finish is long, spicy and delicious, suggesting a wine that will develop nicely over the coming years.

The Gimblett; is traditionally made from a blend of grape varieties. The Cabernet family gives structure and fresh aromatics. Merlot gives richness and mid-palate weight with Malbec helping with complexity, density and colour.

Youthful, clear, bright pale gold colour. Summer orchard fruit aromas with white blossom and lemon brûlée. There is a sea spray edge lending a sense of freshness and purity. Malty/ baked biscuit smelling oak adds a warming bass note.
