Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has since lived by its motto. 'Only one quality, the finest.' It was actually Madame Clicquot herself who created the very first blended Rosé ever, 200 years ago. Veuve Clicquot Rosé is based on the iconic Yellow Label blend, completed with 12% of red wine to bring strength and aromatic intensity. A burst of red fruits. The Homage is a beautifully aromatic wine with interwoven berry purity oak sophistication. A floral, scented nose initially dominates with brambly, blackberry & licorice aromatics sitting in the background. Intense and concentrated in the mouth with fine-grained tannins providing a powerful, yet silky texture. Balanced acidity & supportive oak ensure the wine remains vibrant, focused, & supple on a palate distinguished by exceptional length of flavour & a lingering spicy finish.

The delicate assembly of the expression of a harvest and a majority of reserve wines, some of them held in magnums for between 7 and 15 years Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations. It is moderately dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per litre.
