Louis Roederer Collection is the non-vintage of the 21st century. Replacing Brut Premier in 2021, the latest release from the family-owned Champagne House takes the multi-vintage cuvée to higher grounds. The innovative creation of the Perpetual Reserve (a blend of non-malolactic 50% chardonnay and 50% pinot noir set aside and blended in closed stainless-steel vats every year since 2012); coupled with the influence of Roederer's sustainable organic and biodynamic farming; and the use of an extensive palette of oak-aged Reserve wines in the cuvee; all combine to bring a never-seen before dimension in the multi-vintage champagne world. Each Collection is numbered and represents the number of blends created by the House since its foundation in 1776.

A vibrant bouquet of black cherry and wild herb give way to a supple palate. Flavours of cherry and sweet brown spice are supported by finely textured tannins leading to a long, satisfying finish.

Pipeclay Terrace Pinot Noir is hand crafted in very limited quantities and only released in outstanding vintages. Classic high tone violet florals that are intermingled with black cherry and blackberry notes with an edge of sweet brown spice.

Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has since lived by its motto. 'Only one quality, the finest.' It was actually Madame Clicquot herself who created the very first blended Rosé ever, 200 years ago. Veuve Clicquot Rosé is based on the iconic Yellow Label blend, completed with 12% of red wine to bring strength and aromatic intensity. A burst of red fruits. On the nose: fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes (almonds, apricots, brioche) On the palate: intense flavours of juicy ripe strawberries and cherries.

Ice Impérial, the first and only champagne especially created to be enjoyed over ice. A new champagne experience combining fun, fresh and free sensations while remaining true to the Moët & Chandon style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity. The broad, fleshy, voluptuous flavour of a fresh fruit salad. The captivating sweetness of caramel and quince jelly. The refreshing acidity of grapefruit and ginger notes.

The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey.

Golden straw colour with a matt Lisbon lemon hue. Complex medley of grapefruit peel, pine nuts, oatmeal, delicate white flowers and early summer meadow, constrained only by its youth. Cool, racy, almost pure fresh lemonade juice intensity fills the early palate; steel, saltiness, then more mouth-filling with lemon curd, hazelnuts and an almost sourdough maltiness; finishing long with visions of the sea and grapefruit pith. A sensational expression unique to this place and this vintage.

The Cellar Master seeks ampleness and structure in this cuvée, in search of a gourmet blend which must nevertheless retain a certain freshness. A marriage which demands the precision of a specialist in order to bring out the elegance of style that is the hallmark of PerrierJouët champagne. The choice of Crus is carefully adjusted according to the harvest. An addition of 12 to 15% of reserve wines creates the consistency required to balance the Perrier-Jouët style with the climatic effects of the year. Built on the model of the Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, which is driven by the intensity of the Chardonnay in the blend, Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is enriched by the addition of red wines.

Dense, sustained ruby/garnet. Dizzingly aromatic, swells from the glass: indurate spice - clove, cumin, caraway, cassia; ripe and bright red fruit - raspberry, redcurrant, Morello cherry. Quite a head-spinning, aromatic ride. Penetrating, juicy, sappy, brisk yet enveloping; vibrant flavours of red fruit and spice; also a lively earthy component that is relatively new to this vineyard, arriving in recent vintages: born of vine age and a deeper root structure, no doubt. One could hardly ask for a more invigorating, seductive, and briskly legitimate example of this wine.

Few champagne houses remain in family hands. The impressively-pedigreed Pol Roger is one of them. Residing in the heart of Epernay with cellars running below the Avenue de Champagne for over seven kilometres, they are highly-skilled vinous alchemists in possession of an exquisite collection of wines. Not one of the region's show ponies, Pol nonetheless lead the charge from the front.

The Burmester Port House dates back to the 18th Century.
