Dense in colour with purple margins, the nose shows lifted florals with just a hint of cassis and pepper spice. The palate is firm with elegantly handled tannin and a long savoury finish.

The palate texture is suggestive of cocoa powder while being framed by just enough savoury oak to add structure without dominating. Leading with black fruit characters, it progresses with dark plum and hints of gamey richness (roasted venison). Baking spice notes and a delicate icing sugar dusting add nuance without tipping into overt sweetness. Lively acidity carries through from start to finish, perfectly accompanied by fine structural tannins that contribute to an enduring balance. Despite its depth and layers, it carries itself with typical Bin 28 ease; its complexity is apparent yet approachable.

The warm embrace of stepping in out of the cold, sweet blackberry pie aromas filling the space - this wine embodies contentment. Black cherry, baking spice, earthy roast beetroot and Lavender aromas form an expressive, intense bouquet. The palate has lovely body, with juicy fruit and spice paving the way to great mouthfeel and sculpted tannin structure. It has great integration, even in its infancy, it's harmonious, the length prodigious.

Burgundy in colour with a light crimson hue. Dried lavender and garigue, distinctly Te Muna perfume on the nose. An elegant palate with a warm core of brambled wild berries, porcini mushroom and red cherry in balance with the silk-laden tannins, which perfectly frame the wine.
