The grapes for this prestigious Primitivo do not get harvested once ripe, but are left on the vine so that their ripening can go on. After about 15 days, grapes are over-ripened and dry out directly on the vine, giving a Primitivo with a complex bouquet of red fruits, raisins and clear hints of marasca cherry. Aged in barriques this Primitivo Appassimento Rinforzato is a wine which remains in your memory for its strong character and great personality.

Te Whare Ra Single Vineyard Syrah exhibits fragrant notes of mulberry, black pepper and violets with some complex savoury notes and hints of coffee and spice. For TWR's main blend of Pinot Noir they prefer the flavour profiles from the southern side of Marlborough - this sub-region is called the Southern Valleys or Southern Clays. The soil types in this area of Marlborough are much older than the Wairau flood plain, they also have much lower fertility and a much higher clay component which gives the wines more depth and structure.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak.
