Being finished in well-aged Irish whiskey barrels adds subtle flavours to this Cabernet Sauvignon without changing the essential characteristics of the grape.

The use of aged Scotch whisky barrels in the finishing of this classic Barossa Shiraz has given the wine additional layers of complexity and smoothness, which combine elegantly with the rich varietal plum, fruit cake and chocolate notes.

The colour is deep with purple hues, and shows aromas of charred spice and plum. The palate is soft and abundant with fruits and fine tannins.

The wine is a clear, bright ruby colour. A complex array of high toned red fruit aromas, ripe cherry, raspberry, cranberry with lifted floral notes, undertones of fine spice, savoury herb and quality oak Juicy, youthful and vibrant fruit driven palate. Super smooth and supple with delicate and fine fruity tannins complimenting a balanced spine of acidity. Pure cherry flavours with some sweet oak notes evident on the finish. This Hawke's Bay Syrah displays rich and complex layers of dark berry fruit, lifted florals and savoury spice notes on the nose. Aged in French oak barriques for 15 months, the palate is finely balanced with concentrated black plum, peppery spice and smoothly structured tannins that lead to a finish with both length and power.

The nose is complex with sweet spice, black fruit aromas and some black pepper notes and spicy overtones. The palate is medium bodied with good fruit weight.

Vibrant ruby colour and a rich bouquet of cherries and forest fruits. The palate is silky and medium bodied with supple tannins. Cherry, black plum and delicate blackberry characters with a hint of cedar are complemented by a long finish.

The dark chocolate of the Shiraz is joined by rich cassis from the Cabernet Sauvignon, with waffle-cone vanilla and finished with silky, mouth-filling tannins.

The aroma is full of juicy plum, dark cherry and mocha with a bright wild thyme note framing the nose, continuing with luscious cassis character on the palate. The savoury cocoa and resinous spices from the oak and whole bunch fermentation help draw the red and blue fruits across palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Dark ruby red in colour, this wine opens up with aromas and flavours of ripe black cherry and raspberry. Ageing select lots in rum barrels enhances the notes of baking spice, brown sugar, vanilla, and cocoa when added to the final blend. Dark chocolate notes carry through to a long, lush finish. A superb accompaniment to spiced meats and poultry, Brie with fig jam, and chocolate desserts.
